In 2008, Aviva Barkhourdarian and Norik Keshishian founded nurfilm in Berlin, a film production company, in order to realize their common film projects. nurfilm develops and produces mostly art-house movies with socio-political issues.
Furthermore, nurfilm intends to prepare the basis for international co-productions with Armenia and therefore cares especially to develop contacts with Armenian filmmakers.
nurfilm has started very intensive co-operations with Iranian filmmakers since 2014.
